The historical downtown is 15 minutes walking from the hostel. Santiago can show you part of the latinamerican history of Twentieth Century as Palacio de la Moneda, heart of the broke of democracy in 1973, and museums related to Human Rights issues. La Plaza de Armas in the kilometer “0″ in Chile offers one of the oldest buildings in the city: La Catedral de Santiago and El Edificio de Correos. Alternatively you can visit El Cerro Santa Lucia y El Cerro San Cristóbal, both green points in the capital city. All this you can do it walking or renting a bicycle!!!
